The Hervé Villemade Wine Estate is located in the commune of Cheverny, in the Loir-et-Cher, France. The Villemade family has been involved in the wines of Cheverny for more than 200 years and, for two generations, winemakers Hervé and Pascal Villemade have revived the cellar. The Hervé Villemade Wine Estate spans 10 hectares, primarily composed of Sauvignon, Gamay, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc grape varieties. The estate grounds are primarily made up of sand, pebbles, and marls. This fertile soil offers rich and intense liquid grapes, resulting in a cuvée characterized by its fine and aromatic elegance and intense fruitiness. The vineyard's management respects nature and is certified Organic Agriculture. The wines produced are hand-raised in steel tanks, barrels of one and two wines, as well as in French oak barrels. The wines are then bottled and stored in natural cellars for aging and keeping. The Hervé Villemade Wine Estate offers visitors a different form of visit than that of the large wine houses, focused on bio-diversity projects and biodiversity on the estate. Visitors have the opportunity to taste wines directly from the wine tanks with Hervé, to fully appreciate their quality and balance of flavors. In addition to producing remarkable wines, the Hervé Villemade Wine Estate is one of the only estates to produce quality wines for its clients. In addition to the award-winning wines, the Hervé Villemade Wine Estate emphasizes a long-term commitment to conserving the soil and terroir it cultivates and to maintaining biodiversity in its vineyards.
