The Albert Bichot Estate owns over 60 hectares of vineyards situated in Beaune, Burgundy, in France. As part of the Bichot family consortium, the estate has been producing exquisite wines since 1831, originating from a long winemaking tradition. The vines stretch across an expanse of several different terroirs and cover the main Burgundy appellations, notably Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Albert Bichot Estate produces wines of exceptional quality, particularly its red wines such as Clos de la Rue, Clos des Ursules, and Corton Charlemagne. Under the expertise of its French oenologists, these wines are characterized by their intense aromas and flavors. Being located on clay-limestone, loess, and marl soils, including stony terroir for the reds, they are able to produce high-quality wines with a persisting and complex finish. The estate also offers white wines, including Corton-Charlemagne, coming from the same soils as the red and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet, produced from the same terroirs. Even though they are produced from the same grape varietals, these wines have very distinct notes and aromas that make them unique. The wines from the Albert Bichot Estate perfectly match a range of dishes, from meat-based plates to fine cheeses. In the years to come, Albert Bichot will continue to ensure they produce excellent quality wines for the pleasure of wine connoisseurs. The house carefully selects each grape that goes into the production of its wines and provides a complete range to suit all tastes.
