The wine region of Waipara is located in the region of Canterbury of South Island of New Zealand. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Pegasus Bay or the Domaine Pegasus Bay produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Waipara are Pinot noir, Riesling and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
