The Balearic Islands (Las Islas Baleares) collectively form one of Spain's 17 official administrative regions. This idyllic archipelago Lies about 95 km east of the Iberian Peninsula in the western Mediterranean. The islands' closest neighbours are the provinces of Valencia and Murcia to the west, and Catalonia to the North. This technique was very popular at the end of the 80's in Sauternes, a little less so now. The grapes are frozen before pressing, and the water transformed into ice remains in the marc, only the sugar flows out. As with the concentrators, the "cryo" can also increase bad taste and greenness.

Penfolds doubles production capacity in France following Château Lanessan acquisition

The new Daou Family estate has yet to be named but the purchase includes 70 hectares of land and an old farmhouse called Coroglie.
