The Damilano Estate is nestled in the heart of the Barolo wine region, in Italy. Founded in 1890 by Giuseppe Borgogno, the estate was passed on to his grandsons, Alfredo, Guido and Mario Damilano in 1935. The estate spans about 40 hectares of vineyards, spread among the hills of Barolo. Paramount in their philosophy is respect for the terroir and the environment. The oldest vine, Cannubi, is over 100 years old and symbolizes the estate's commitment to tradition. The grape varieties planted are mainly Nebbiolo, the flagship varietal of the region, but also Barbera and Dolcetto.
