Château La Coste is a winery in Provence, France, located on the heights of the gentle town of La Coste in the Vaucluse department. This ancestral home boasts a rich history dating back to the 18th century, when the first owners, the Levis family, decided to transform it into a winery. Over the years, the family ensured the continuity of their wine heritage by implementing the highest possible environmental standards. Today, Château La Coste produces some of the finest wines in Provence. Their famous vineyard comprises 15 different orientations, including grenache, syrah, mourvèdre, cinsault, and white picpoul, which are planted in rich soils composed of limestone and silica. This estate, which spans just over 200 hectares, is governed by a Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) program aimed at improving quality standards, environmental protection, and increasing biodiversity. Furthermore, Château La Coste has been named an "Appellation d'Origine Provence (AOP or PDO)" vineyard for its incredible wines and preservation of terroirs. While visiting the estate, wine lovers can stroll through the classic garden, where paths have been arranged to enjoy the serene setting with a collection of fruit trees and original sculptures by famous international artists. Additionally, the meditation center located on the estate offers a peaceful and notable retreat, connected to the spiritual and artistic ambiance of Château La Coste. With a restaurant located in the vineyard and a range of local and artisanal products available at the deli boutique, Château La Coste is a charming place to explore wine, nature, and culture.
