The Siro Pacenti Estate is an exceptional winery located in the Brunello di Montalcino region of Italy, specifically in Tuscany. Brunello di Montalcino is one of the most renowned wine regions in the world, known for the production of elegant and long-ageing red wines. The Siro Pacenti Estate perfectly embodies this tradition of quality and excellence. Established in 1970 by Siro Pacenti himself, the Siro Pacenti Estate is now managed by his son Giancarlo. With over 40 hectares of vineyards located at the northern end of the Brunello region, the estate distinguishes itself by the use of modern viticultural techniques without ever denying the traditional heritage of the region. The estate's soils are rich in clay and sands, which offers the grapes a long and regular maturation. The vineyards are mainly planted with the Sangiovese grape variety, the traditional variety of the region, which gives the wine an intense ruby red color and complex aromas of red fruits, spices and leather. The Siro Pacenti Estate produces three main wines: Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino "Vecchie Vigne". These wines are known for their great complexity, delicate tannic structure and their ability to age gracefully. The Brunello di Montalcino, the flagship of the estate, is a wine produced only in the best vintages and is aged for more than two years in French oak barrels. It is characterized by its power, aromatic intensity, and long finish. As for the Rosso di Montalcino, it is more accessible and ready to drink earlier. Nonetheless, it offers a beautiful complexity and a well-balanced tannic structure.
