Nestled in Italy's picturesque Chianti region, the Castello di Radda Estate is a vineyard property that captures the essence of traditional Tuscan winemaking. Spanning 150 acres, 67 of which are dedicated to vineyards, this emblematic Chianti splendor is a natural work of art, with neat rows of vineyards cascading down the gentle hills to mingle with the lush oak forest bordering the estate. The estate is a bastion of winemaking history, dating back to the 16th century. The original stone-walled castle with imposing towers served as a stronghold for the family of Florentine princes. Today, the castle with dark wood interiors, monumental stone fireplaces, and walls adorned with period paintings has become the heart of the estate, housing the wine cellar and the point of sale for wines produced on-site. The wine cellar, a modern technological marvel, is however carefully designed to blend into the landscape and the historical heritage of the estate. Here, wine is produced in accordance with local tradition, primarily from Sangiovese, the king of Tuscan grape varieties. The wines produced at the Castello di Radda Estate are recognized for their freshness, robust body, and distinctive character, thanks to fertile soil and an ideal climate for winemaking. Among them, the Chianti Classico, with its intensely rich ruby red hue, is a jewel of the estate. This wine boasts an aromatic complexity and depth of flavor that have contributed to making the Castello di Radda a heavyweight name in the wine world.
