Located in the heart of Savoie, France, Domaine Philippe Grisard is a true viticultural jewel whose history and heritage merge into the spectacular mountainous landscape. Spread over about 10 hectares of vineyards, this family estate is dedicated to the production of quality wines, renowned for their freshness, finesse, and elegance. Situated at the foot of the French Alps, Domaine Philippe Grisard benefits from an exceptional terroir. The soils composed of limestone scree and silt, combined with the mountain climate, produce mineral and expressive wines. These vineyards, managed in a traditional and environmentally friendly way, allow the full typicity and potential of the Savoyard terroir to be revealed. Since 1859, five generations of the Grisard family have succeeded each other at the head of the estate, each bringing their personal touch while perpetuating the same passion for viticulture. Today, Philippe Grisard, with his son Franck at his side since 2009, continues to honor this family heritage, combining traditions and innovations to produce wines of great expression. Domaine Philippe Grisard is particularly renowned for its cultivation of the Mondeuse grape, a native grape of Savoie, and also produces wines from the Rousette, Jacquère, Pinot, and Gamay grape varieties. The range of wines from the estate is varied, ranging from perfectly balanced white wines to fleshy and vigorous reds, and fresh and fruity rosés. The estate's cellar, installed in an 18th-century barn, is open to all wine lovers. There is no doubt that tasting the wines on site, in this authentic setting, is an experience not to miss.
