The wine region of Mâcon-Chardonnay is located in the region of Mâcon of Burgundy of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine des Crêts or the Domaine Bret Brothers & The Soufrandière produce mainly wines white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Mâcon-Chardonnay are Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Mâcon-Chardonnay often reveals types of flavors of apples, vegetal or cheese and sometimes also flavors of stone fruit, orange or honey.
In the mouth of Mâcon-Chardonnay is a powerful. We currently count 27 estates and châteaux in the of Mâcon-Chardonnay, producing 47 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Mâcon-Chardonnay go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, vegetarian or cured meat.
