The Joseph Roty Estate is a magnificent and luxurious winery located in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, France. Since 1871, the Roty family has maintained their estate as an authentic vineyard, practicing viticulture and wine raising under their own appellation. Vineyards and wineries are located in the Gevrey-Chambertin Commune, which is the smallest wine village on the Cote de Nuits. Originating from the famous Roty-Chambolle estate, the business is run by three generations of the Roty family and is part of the Association of Great Burgundy Wines. The Joseph Roty Estate produces red, white, crémant, vintage and sparkling wines, which are classified as AOC wines. The annual production is about 10,000 cases, mainly from the valleys of Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, and Vougeot. Their microbiological and environmental approach is based on environmentally friendly winemaking methods, which allows the production of both authentic and robust wines. The Joseph Roty Estate has received numerous prestigious awards for its Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté grape varieties. Their red wines are characterized by a beautiful garnet color and a rich and delicate nose of small red and black fruits and sweet spices. These fleshy and balanced wines will not fail to satisfy discerning and enlightened connoisseurs. Aging in new barrels gives a silky texture and fine but powerful tannins to the white wines, which have intense aromas of ripe fruit and white flowers. The Joseph Roty Estate is proud to offer its customers wines whose style and quality are likely to be passed down from generation to generation. These wines are produced respecting the grape varieties and terrains warmed by Mediterranean and Atlantic influences. The wines from this estate are intended for both amateurs and professionals and will satisfy the most demanding.
