The Two Hands Estate is located in the beautiful wine region of the Barossa Valley in Australia. Considered one of the most important estates in Australia, it is recognized for the production of very high-quality wines. Since its establishment in 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz, the Two Hands Estate has quickly gained an international reputation for its powerful, well-structured, and very fruity wines. The Two Hands Estate is perched on rolling hills, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding vineyards. Located in one of the driest regions of Australia, the estate benefits from a warm and sunny climate, which is ideal for grape cultivation. These climatic conditions, combined with a mineral-rich soil, allow the production of wines with great aromatic intensity and beautiful taste complexity. On nearly sixteen hectares, the Two Hands Estate mainly produces red wines, particularly from the shiraz varietal, an iconic grape of the Barossa Valley region. However, we should not forget the other varietals grown there, such as cabernet sauvignon and grenache, contributing to the diversification of production and the complexity of the wines produced. With its artisanal approach and its philosophy of "quality without compromise", the Two Hands Estate quickly attracted the attention of critics and wine lovers. In 2003, it was named in the Top 100 best wineries in the world by Wine Spectator. A nice recognition that underlines the rigor and effort of the estate's team. Each bottle produced at the Two Hands Estate is a true expression of the place and terroir where it was made.

The word of the wine: Old vines

There are no specific regulations governing the term "vieilles vignes". After 20 to 25 years, the yields stabilize and tend to decrease, the vines are deeply rooted, and the grapes that come from them give richer, more concentrated, more sappy wines, expressing with more nuance the characteristics of their terroir. It is possible to find plots of vines that claim to be a century old.
