The Stein Estate is one of the most beautiful viticultural jewels in the heart of the famous Mosel Valley in Germany. Located between steep escarpments and the Mosel River, this vineyard is renowned for its exceptional production of Riesling, a highly reputable white wine. The unique character of the Stein Estate comes from its ideal location. The vineyards are arranged in terraces along the slopes of the valley, allowing each vine to benefit from optimal sunlight throughout the year. The region's schist soil also provides a distinctive minerality to the wines, endowing them with unusual complexity and depth of flavor. The estate extends over a total of five hectares, mainly composed of old vines that can reach up to 90 years old. Each vine is carefully cultivated and maintained by hand in strict accordance with the principles of sustainable viticulture. This ecological approach is fundamental to the estate, ensuring the longevity of the lands and the quality of the grapes produced. What really sets the Stein Estate apart is its devotion to Riesling. They bottle a range of Rieslings that faithfully reflect the complex and diverse terroir of the Mosel region. Each bottle reveals a different aspect of the vine's identity, whether it is its freshness, minerality, complexity, or potential aging over time. Moreover, beyond the final product, visiting the Stein Estate is an experience in its own right. The impressive panoramas of the Mosel Valley, the beauty of the terraced vineyards, and the traditional architecture of the wine cellar all contribute to creating a simultaneously rustic and warm atmosphere.
