The region's Vin Santo is also highly prized, as are its passito dessert wines, though these are produced in comparatively tiny quantities.

It can be found in the United States, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, ... almost unknown in France. In these countries, it is certainly the most cultivated as a wine grape but it can also be found on the markets.
