The Andre Brunel Estate is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in France. Founded in 1947, it is the oldest and most renowned wine cellar in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Brunel family has worked through several generations to produce complex wines, entirely colored by the local terroir and the unique identity of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Andre Brunel Estate covers 15 hectares and is considered one of the best vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vines are planted with a varied mix of traditional grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Bourboulenc. The wines produced here are full-bodied and have a beautiful length in taste as the deep vines and unusual terroir enrich their aromatic complexity. The Andre Brunel Estate also proudly carries a wide variety of traditional wine ranges. Each bottle produced includes varieties such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Tavel and Lirac, while the Estate's Rosé, the Cotes du Rhone, the Rasteau and the Clairette de Die are also produced. The Andre Brunel Estate is a quality vineyard recognized in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and renowned worldwide. The Brunel family produces wines of exceptional quality in a sustainable and eco-responsible manner. Since 2014, the vineyard has been HVE (High Environmental Value) certified and their farming practices are designed to guarantee the protection of the soil and the proper use of natural resources. Roussane is a white grape variety, planted on an area of more than 700 ha. Originally from Montélimar, it is also found in Savoie, Languedoc and Roussillon, and grows very well in calcareous, poor, stony soil. It prefers to be pruned short. Roussane is also called fromenteau, barbin or bergeron. The young leaves are bubbled with fine down. When adult, they become thicker. It flowers in June and matures in mid-September.
