The Domaine de l'Idylle is a magnificent vineyard located in Savoie, in the northeast of France. This region is known for its stunning alpine landscape, crystalline lakes and, of course, its exquisite wines. Founded in 1840 by the Tiollier family, the Domaine de l'Idylle now spans 38 hectares, nestled in the heart of the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park. Owning a long history and a rich winemaking tradition, this estate is held as a reference point for wines from Savoie. The Domaine de l'Idylle also stands out for its commitment to respect the environment and to provide high-quality wine, produced with sustainable and nature-friendly agricultural practices. Evidence of this is their HVE (High Environmental Value) certification obtained in 2013. The estate consists of several types of soil, ranging from limestone to clay, through to granitic and schist soils, which allows for a wide variety of wines each with their unique and distinct character. The vineyard is primarily planted with regional varieties, such as Mondeuse, Persan, but also Jacquère and Altesse.
