45 kilometres east of Bordeaux, Blasimon is perched on a hillside overlooking the Gamage, a tributary of the Dordogne. Its hilly sites and its calm make it an ideal place to relax. A direct producer hybrid obtained by Georges Couderc by crossing Vitis Lincecumii (Buckley) with 162-5 Couderc, the latter having 3/4 blood of Vinifera-Rupestris.
