The wine region of Mátra is located in the region of Eger of Hungary. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine N. A. G.
Borművek or the Domaine Bárdos es Fia produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Mátra are Cabernet franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
