The grapes grown in the vineyard are Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These vines are all managed according to integrated and reasoned pest management methods in order to maintain a balance between the environment and the production of quality wine. The Château du Hureau produces three main ranges of wines: sweet and dessert wines, dry wines, and sparkling wines. Their wines are both fruity and mineral, ideally served at a cool temperature. The sweet and dessert wines are subtle and sweet, while the dry and sparkling wines are more complex and robust. The Château du Hureau is one of the largest estates in Saumur, producing extremely high-quality wines. Their wines are balanced, well-rounded, and possess a beautiful structure for each blend.
