A very old variety known and cultivated more precisely in the north-east of Italy in the Veneto region (provinces of Treviso, Padua, Venice, etc.), not to be confused with Raboso Veronese, which is the result of an intraspecific cross between Raboso Piave and Marzemina Bianca. Raboso Piave is practically unknown in other wine-producing countries.

The wine region of Piave is located in the region of Vénétie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Gambrinus or the Domaine Le Rive produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Piave are Raboso Piave, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Piave often reveals types of flavors of citrus, pear or dried fruit and sometimes also flavors of floral, spices or black fruit.

Exports of Scotch whisky exceed £6bn for the first time
According to figures released by the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA), the value of exports last year rose 37% to £6.2bn, with volumes increasing by 21% to the equivalent of 1.67bn 70cl bottles.
