The wine region of Curtefranca is located in the region of Franciacorta of Lombardie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Ca' del Bosco or the Domaine Castello di Gussago produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Curtefranca are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet franc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Curtefranca often reveals types of flavors of red fruit, black fruit or oak and sometimes also flavors of non oak, microbio or tree fruit.
In the mouth of Curtefranca is a powerful. We currently count 71 estates and châteaux in the of Curtefranca, producing 140 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Curtefranca go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, shellfish or mature and hard cheese.
