The Sipp Mack Estate is a charming and picturesque vineyard nestled in the lush, rolling landscape of Alsace, a legendary region of France. It is located in the Alsatian commune of Hunawihr, surrounded by both ancient and modern vineyards, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The estate was established in 1698 with a spread of 15 hectares of vineyards. Over generations, the vineyard has grown to currently offer about 23 hectares of vineyards. As active members of the Tyflo network, Domaine Sipp Mack adheres to environmentally respectful cultivation methods with added quality guarantees. The estate is especially renowned for the production of a variety of superior-quality wines spread across different appellations including Alsace Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Blanc. The clay-limestone soil of this region provides a unique terroir with multiple mineral nuances, adding complexity and character to their wine portfolio. Discovering the wine region of Alsace

Alsace, located in the extreme north-east of France, is Distinguished from other French wine regions by its strong Franco-Germanic influences. These influences are the result of a back-and-forth between the German and French sovereignties over the last few centuries. They can be seen not only in the architecture and culture of Alsace, but also in the wines. Alsace wines are produced under three main appellations: Alsace and Alsace Grand Cru for still white wines (Sweet and Dry), and Crémant d'Alsace for Sparkling wines.

Almost all the wines produced in this region fall under one of these three appellations. Alsace Grand Cru wines are produced from one of the 51 privileged vineyards spread along the Length of the region. Alsace is the only French wine region to produce significant quantities of Riesling and Gewurztraminer. These two grape varieties are more commonly associated with German wines and are reminiscent of Alsace's history.

White muscat is a white grape variety of Greek origin. Present in several Mediterranean vineyards, it has several synonyms such as muscat de Die, muscat blanc and frontignac.
