Crisp, taut whites with a marked acidity, showing discreet aromas of green apple, citrus, white flowers and fresh herbal notes. Neutral and refreshing profile. Preserved in confidential parcels in Piedmont (Monferrato, Alessandria) for its heritage value, subject to ampelographic studies. The wine region of Tennessee
Wine state of the American Southeast, humid subtropical climate forcing native resistant grapes. Muscadine signature king grape: fruity accessible wines with signature notes of fresh grape, tropical fruits, white flowers and musky touch — often sweet or off-dry in typical Southern style. Vidal Blanc fresh hybrid (pear, citrus), Chambourcin supple red (cherry, spices), more structured Norton (blackberry, earth). 2 AVAs including Nine Lakes (2026).
The word of the wine: Bordeaux barrel
Barrels of 220 to 225 litres. The toasting of the barrel to bend the staves (curved boards used to make the barrels) can vary according to the coopers and the demand. A gentle and slow toasting has little effect on the aromas. On the other hand, a strong toasting gives aromas of coffee or cocoa which will influence the taste of the wine. A wine barrel has already been aged for a year and has less impact on the wine than a new barrel.
