Tuscan sweet liqueur wine made since the Middle Ages: white grapes (Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia) dried on racks then pressed in March, fermentation and ageing 3-10 years in small caratelli casks. Golden to amber robe, intense notes of honey, dried apricot, fig, Corinth raisin, walnut and caramelised touch, rich palate balanced by signature acidity. DOC Vin Santo del Chianti and variants.
