The Château Lestrille vineyard is a veritable hidden gem in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region in France. Located in Saint-Germain-du-Puch, this family vineyard has been operating for five generations, combining the richness of the past with the innovations of the present. Château Lestrille covers approximately 45 hectares of vineyard lands, where primarily the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc varietals, as well as Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon for white wines, are cultivated. The vineyard is renowned for its production of superior Bordeaux and Entre-Deux-Mers wines, of great quality and highly reputed for their finesse and complexity. The vineyard is managed by Estelle Roumage, a passionate and dedicated winemaker who respects the terroir and traditions. She has successfully married modernity and tradition, using the most innovative viticulture techniques while honoring the practices established by her ancestors. The winemaking approach at Château Lestrille is to respect the fruit, to promote the natural expression of the terroir and to produce authentic and expressive wines. The estate is also a highly sought-after tourist spot, where visitors can participate in wine tastings, vineyard tours, and even introductory tasting workshops.
