The Perrot-Minot Estate is a wine cellar located in Morey-Saint-Denis in Burgundy, France. For many years, the vintners heirs of the family have respected and produced the wines, with the same passion and expertise, thus maintaining tradition. The estate is located on the foothills of the Côtes de Nuits and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. The vineyards are surrounded by forests, green valleys and hills that offer a magnificent view of the heights of the Côtes de Nuits. This estate is particularly known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties produced from vineyards classified in first and grand place. The grapes are harvested manually and by hand, vinified in stainless steel vats before being bottled and ready to be marketed. The wines are produced with great care and much attention is paid to winemaking methods. The winemaking process includes crushing the grapes, extracting the tannins and aromas, mastering fermentations and blends. The wines are aged in used barrels for 12 to 18 months on native yeasts, resulting in rich, deep aromas and firm, subtle tannins. In addition, the citizen distills fruit brandies such as Morey-Saint-Denis Mirabelle or Morey-Saint-Denis Damascus Kirsch using a traditional slow distillation still. These liqueurs are made with fruit from local orchards and offer a unique taste. The Perrot-Minot Estate also offers wine-related activities onsite, such as tastings, sommelier workshops and tours of the cellars. This allows visitors to enjoy a unique and enriching experience in the estate's vineyards.
