The Château de Chamirey is a superb wine estate located on the hillsides of Mercurey in Burgundy, France. The vineyards are situated on clay-limestone soils dating from the Mesozoic era, offering the grapes an aromatic richness as well as a fine flavor and a long taste persistence. The qualification of the Mercurey appellation restricts the estate to only Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties which represent more than 60% of the vineyard.
