The E. Guigal Estate, located on the hillsides of Northern Rhône is the ideal place to cultivate wines of exceptional quality. The fine grapes, which come from several varieties adapted to their terroir, are meticulously crafted with over two centuries of familial know-how. The vineyards, which face predominantly southeast, are mostly situated on hills bathed by the southern light, sheltering them from violent winds and covering their branches with the flavors of the surrounding earth. Thus, the microclimate, very conducive to the construction of wine aromas, is maintained, offering the wines excellent quality. The principle of the estate's wines is respect for the terroir and time, fermenting all wines with gentle and natural techniques that enhance their aromatic expression. The Syrah, Grenache, Viognier as well as Mourvedre, Marsanne and Roussanne vines are subtly blended and adapt well to their environment. The plots of the E. Guigal Estate are spread out over a large territory, covering several peaks, including Mount Pilat. The year-round presence of clouds, which cool the vineyard at suitable moments, and a clay-limestone soil make it possible for these vines to produce perfectly ripe grapes, full of flavor and aromas. The grape varieties vinified at this location give the wines their unique and specific properties, giving them a true imprint of the terroir that can be tasted on the palate. The Syrah and Grenache wines are particularly distinguished and have been recognized by international critics for their depth of taste and complexity. E. Guigal Estate is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts, offering its visitors unique tasting wines at extremely competitive prices. A visit to the E. Guigal Estate is an unforgettable experience for wine lovers, offering a tasting of rich wines, stunning views of the Rhône valley, and a guided tour of the vineyards.

Côtes du Rhône is a regional appellation in the Rhône Valley in eastern France. It applies to red, rosé and white wines, and includes more than 170 villages. Roussane is a white grape variety, planted on an area of more than 700 ha. Originally from Montélimar, it is also found in Savoie, Languedoc and Roussillon, and grows very well in calcareous, poor, stony soil. It prefers to be pruned short. Roussane is also called fromenteau, barbin or bergeron. The young leaves are bubbled with fine down. When adult, they become thicker. It flowers in June and matures in mid-September. The grapes are cylindrical in shape, the berries are small and turn red when ripe, and the wine produced from pure Roussane is of extraordinary quality. It has a delicate aroma reminiscent of coffee, honeysuckle, iris and peony. The taste of this wine improves with age.
