The wine region of Auckland is located in the region of North Island of New Zealand. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Puriri Hills or the Domaine Puriri Hills produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Auckland are Merlot, Cabernet franc and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
