The Domaine Attis vineyard is a gem of the picturesque region of Rías Baixas, in Spain. Located in the hamlet of Lois, in the heart of the Salnés Valley, this vineyard is a captivating wine celebration offering a unique experience to wine lovers from all over the world. Founded by Roberto and Rodrigo Méndez, the estate's name is a tribute to Attis, the Greek god associated with vegetation and fertility. This reflects their desire to respect the traditional and natural aspects of winemaking. Their passion for wine is represented by each bottle produced, offering a luxurious combination of ancestral viticultural traditions and modern innovations. The Domaine Attis spreads over an area of 10 hectares, with a mosaic of small vineyards. It is mainly planted with the local grape varieties Albariño and Mencía. These grape varieties benefit from the cool and humid Atlantic climate, which adds to the distinctive character of the wines produced. The philosophy of Domaine Attis is to create wines that reflect the maritime climate of Rías Baixas and the unique terroir of their vineyards. Each bottle is produced respecting the environment and following traditional methods, while incorporating the latest winemaking technologies and techniques. Domaine Attis is recognized for its Albariño, which is among the best in the country. Its floral and mineral notes blend perfectly with the typical seafood flavors of the region. Their Mencía, with its red fruit and chocolate aromas, is also a remarkable wine gaining in popularity.
