Vertzami is the autochthonous red king (~90% of plantings): near-black robe of rare intensity, full-bodied and structured with blackberry, black cherry, plum, Mediterranean herbs and a peppery note, firm tannins and ageing potential. Endemic Vardea is the fresh white king with citrus, apple and a floral touch, perfect with grilled fish.
