The wine region of Serrapetrona is located in the region of Marches of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Terre di Serrapetrona or the Domaine Terre di Serrapetrona produce mainly wines red and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Serrapetrona are Merlot et Sangiovese, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Serrapetrona often reveals types of flavors of earth, spices or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of non oak, oak or black fruit.
In the mouth of Serrapetrona is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 5 estates and châteaux in the of Serrapetrona, producing 15 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Serrapetrona go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, pasta or veal.
