A grey-skinned mutation of Sauvignon Blanc, made as a rare single variety in Bordeaux (Pessac-Léognan, Graves), the Loire and Chile where it is experiencing a fine qualitative revival. Also Penedès, fleshy Montsant, sunny Empordà, Costers del Segre. Mediterranean.
