A complex interspecific cross between the diana (sylvaner x Müller-Thurgau) and the chambourcin obtained in Germany in 1967 by Gerhardt Alleweldt. The wine region of Burgenland
Burgenland is a large wine-producing region on the eastern border of Austria.
