The Nicolas Millet Estate is a prestigious vineyard located in the Sancerre wine region, in France. Nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, this estate offers an exceptional landscape where vineyards intertwine on the gentle slopes of the region. The grape varieties grown here benefit from this privileged position to develop and mature under the climate of this region, tempered by the river. The estate is a family business that was established in 2006 by Nicolas Millet, an agronomist specializing in viticulture and oenology. Passionate about wine and vine from his youngest age, Nicolas has instilled in his estate an unconditional love of the terroir and an unrivaled rigor in the development of his wines. The estate manages about 16 hectares of vineyards, mainly on clay-limestone and Kimmeridgian marl soils. The grape varieties are traditional to Sancerre, namely Sauvignon for the whites and Pinot Noir for the reds and rosés. The vineyard is cultivated following environmentally friendly methods, limiting the use of pesticides. The wines of the Nicolas Millet Estate are characterized by their freshness, elegance, and aromatic purity. The range of white wines offers mineral and fruity notes, balanced by a refreshing acidity. The red and rosé wines are fruity, light and supple, with subtle aromas of red fruits. All the estate's cuvées reflect the expression of the terroir and the vintage, thus giving them a unique character.
