The Brunori Estate is a magnificent vineyard nestled in the picturesque region of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Italy. It's a family-owned property that was established in 1956 when Mario Brunori began producing extraordinary quality wines from mature, healthy vines. Today, Brunori wines are internationally recognized for their authenticity, character, and pure expression of Italian terroir. Over an area of 15 hectares, the estate primarily cultivates Verdicchio, but also grows other varieties such as Montepulciano and Sangiovese. The vineyards are spread on a clay-limestone soil with a southeast exposure, offering optimal conditions for grape maturity. These factors, coupled with a mild Mediterranean climate, have enabled the Brunori Estate to produce high-quality wines that reflect the distinct character of their terroir. The philosophy of the estate lies in an environmentally-friendly approach. The farming team only uses environmentally-respectful cultivation methods, such as biodynamic farming and reducing chemical interventions. As a result, their wines are not only exceptional, but also healthy and free of chemical residues. The winemakers at the Brunori Estate take pride in their traditional winemaking methods. They hand-harvest the grapes and ferment them naturally, without the addition of artificial additives. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and purity of the fruit. The wines from the estate are known for their finesse and aromatic complexity. Verdicchio is often compared favorably to a good Chablis for its minerality and liveliness.

Under the name of peverella, it can still be found in Brazil, where it has occupied large areas for a long time. In France, it is almost unknown. It would seem that it has many relatives, in particular with varieties of Italian origin, known or little known, without us being able to quote them with certainty because the doubt still remains, to be followed!
