The wine region of Valle de la Orotava is located in the region of Iles Canaries of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Tajinaste or the Domaine Envínate produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Valle de la Orotava are Tempranillo, Teroldego and Albillo mayor, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Valle de la Orotava often reveals types of flavors of cherry, cream or stone and sometimes also flavors of pear, lemon or apricot.
In the mouth of Valle de la Orotava is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 18 estates and châteaux in the of Valle de la Orotava, producing 64 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Valle de la Orotava go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, pasta or veal.
The white Listan is a grape variety originating from Spain. It produces a variety of grape used for the elaboration of wine. However, it can also be found eating on our tables! This variety of vine is characterized by large bunches and medium to large grapes. The white Listan can be found in several vineyards: South-West, Cognac, Bordeaux, Provence & Corsica, Rhone valley, Languedoc & Roussillon, Loire valley, Savoie & Bugey, Beaujolais, Armagnac.
