The wine region of Cream Sherry is located in the region of Jerez-Xérès-Sherry of Andalousie of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Bodegas Tradición or the Domaine Hidalgo (La Gitana) produce mainly wines natural sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Cream Sherry are Chenin blanc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Cream Sherry often reveals types of flavors of butterscotch, cheese or tropical fruit and sometimes also flavors of citrus fruit, vegetal or black fruit.
In the mouth of Cream Sherry is a powerful with a good balance between acidity and sweetness. We currently count 18 estates and châteaux in the of Cream Sherry, producing 25 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Cream Sherry go well with generally quite well with dishes of sweet desserts, mature and hard cheese or appetizers and snacks.

The small island of Gorgona, just off the coast of Livorno, isn’t your run-of-the-mill viticultural area – its main purpose is to serve as a penal colony. Not just any prisoner can reside on Gorgona, however. Up to 90 incarcerated men live on the island at a time, alongside 17 residents and a handful of police officers.
