Discovering the wine region of Portalegre
The wine region of Portalegre is located in the region of Alentejo of Alentejano of Portugal. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Tapada do Chaves or the Domaine Tapada do Chaves produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Portalegre are Tempranillo, Touriga nacional and Fernao Pires, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
