The wine region of Colli di Salerno is located in the region of Campanie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Lunarossa or the Domaine Montevetrano produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Colli di Salerno are Aglianico, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Colli di Salerno often reveals types of flavors of black fruit, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of tree fruit, citrus fruit or spices.
In the mouth of Colli di Salerno is a powerful. We currently count 22 estates and châteaux in the of Colli di Salerno, producing 37 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Colli di Salerno go well with generally quite well with dishes of shellfish, vegetarian or appetizers and snacks.
