Discover the grape variety: Isa

Simple, fresh dry whites with a pale golden colour, supple palate with moderate acidity, undemonstrative aromas of citrus and white flowers. Rustic, discreet profile. Preserved in a few ampelographic collections as a heritage variety of historical interest, its commercial diffusion has almost disappeared; studied for its genetic interest. Rare, poorly documented white variety grown in tiny quantities.

The wine region of Colli di Salerno

Campanian IGT south of Naples on the hills of the province of Salerno (Cilento setting), varied soils and sunny Mediterranean climate. Aglianico is the signature red: dense and deep with black cherry, blackberry, plum, leather, tobacco and a balsamic note, firm ageing tannins — the mythical figure of Montevetrano. Fruity and supple Piedirosso as a complement. Fiano is the signature white: dry and full with citrus, pear, hazelnut and a mineral note.

The wine region of Campania

Cradle of southern Italy's great wines on volcanic soils. Majestic Aglianico in red: structured, deep and tannic with notes of black cherry, candied plum, leather and spices, sublimated in age-worthy Taurasi DOCG, the "Barolo of the south". Identity whites of Irpinia: opulent Fiano di Avellino (honey, hazelnut), mineral iodine Greco di Tufo, aromatic Falanghina (peach, flowers). Also supple Piedirosso.

The word of the wine: Cuvée prestige (champagne)

Vintage or not, it is composed of a selection of terroirs and generally comes from the first press after eliminating the very first juices that come out of the press. The best known? Dom Pérignon, Cristal de Roederer, Grand Siècle de Laurent-Perrie, Louise at Pommery. In fact, all the houses and most of the independent winegrowers have their own prestige cuvee.
