The wine region of Heideboden is located in the region of Burgenland of Weinland of Austria. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Judith Beck or the Domaine Scheiblhofer produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Heideboden are Zweigelt, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Heideboden often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or microbio and sometimes also flavors of oak, spices or red fruit.
In the mouth of Heideboden is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 13 estates and châteaux in the of Heideboden, producing 22 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Heideboden go well with generally quite well with dishes of lamb, pork or rich fish (salmon, tuna etc).
