Provence is a wine region in the far southeast of France, best known for the quality (and quantity) of its rosé wines and for its Warm, mild Climate. It was given until then as coming from a cross between Riesling and Sylvaner, but genetic tests have shown that its father is the Bouquettraube (Bukettrebe), and it is closely related to the Kerner.
