Located in the beautiful Abruzzo region of Italy, the Piandimare Estate is an exceptional vineyard that exudes passion and devotion for wine. Nestled in the heart of preserved, lush nature, this winery offers a panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea and the snow-capped peaks of the Apennines. Piandimare is a true treasure of Italy, harmoniously combining wine tradition and modernity. Founded in the 1950s, the Piandimare Estate spans over 20 hectares of vineyards cultivated in environmentally friendly practices that respect the terroir. Grape variety selection is skillfully orchestrated to produce wines that authentically reflect the generous character of Abruzzo. The Montepulciano, an emblematic grape of the region, is notably used to produce their eponymous red wine, rich and robust. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate and knowledge passed down through generations, the estate also produces excellent white wines, primarily using the Trebbiano grape variety. Piandimare's wines stand out for their finesse, balance, and elegance, but also for their respect for the typicality of Abruzzo's grape varieties and terroirs. Visiting the Piandimare Estate is an enchanting experience. The estate not only offers the opportunity to explore the winemaking process, from harvest to bottling, but also offers tastings in their charming vaulted cellar. With its stone walls and warm atmosphere, it's the perfect place to savor the subtleties of Piandimare's wines while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape. In short, the Piandimare Estate is much more than a wine producer.

Abruzzo is an Italian wine region located on the eastern (Adriatic) coast. Its immediate neighbors in CentralItaly are Marche to the North, Lazio to the west and southwest and Molise to the southeast. Abruzzo has one DOCG - Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane - and three DOC wine appellations. The reds and Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, as well as the white wine appellation Trebbiano d'Abruzzo are the most notable, followed by the lesser-known Controguerra.
