Administratively, Coteaux du Loir blanc can be produced in the dePartments of Sarthe and Indre-et-Loire. Its Terroir benefits from a temperate Climate with an oceanic influence and degraded oceanic soils of chalk tuffeau, clay-limestone and flinty clay.
