The wine region of Traisental is located in the region of Niederösterreich of Weinland of Austria. The designation applies only to white wines from the Grüner Veltliner Grape variety.

An antiseptic and antioxidant substance known since antiquity, probably already used by the Romans. But it was only in modern times that its use was rediscovered.
