Coloured, structured reds with a deep ruby robe, firm tannins and fresh acidity, showing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, pepper, spices, herbs and balsamic notes evoking cabernet sauvignon. Disease-resistant interspecific variety (mildew and powdery mildew), driving force of organic vineyards in northern Europe: Germany, Switzerland, northern Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and UK. The wine region of Ahr

Small German valley south of Bonn, the country's largest contiguous single red-grape zone. Signature Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) (>60%): elegant, structured reds with signature notes of cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, undergrowth and sweet spice, silky tannins and taut freshness — Burgundian style in an improbable climate. Also early Fruhburgunder, fleshier. ~560 ha on steep slopes over schist and slate, sheltered temperate microclimate.

The word of the wine: White Grenache

White grape variety cultivated mainly in Spain and a little in the south of France (southern Rhône valley, Languedoc-Roussillon). It is the white variety of Grenache noir. It is used in the blending of several white wines (dry wines or natural sweet wines) to which it gives richness, fatness and floral notes.
