Star of the Loire as a single variety (Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur-Champigny) and of the right bank of Bordeaux in blends (Cheval Blanc at 60%). Also in semi-dry Anjou rosés. Federal AVA in northeast Ohio (Lake and Ashtabula counties, ~1,300 acres, >50% of Ohio production): Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc cool-climate signatures on the International Pinot Belt — fresh, structured profile with vibrant fruit and acidity preserved by Lake Erie's moderating influence.
