Umbrian DOC between Todi and Orvieto (microclimate tempered by Lake Corbara on the Tiber), hilly clay-limestone terroirs. Sangiovese: vivid and fruity red with cherry, raspberry, red fruits, spices and floral-balsamic note, round tannins and taut acidity, elevated in structured Riserva. Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot Nero as fleshy reds. Grechetto, Vermentino and Chardonnay as vivid whites.
