The Château Chasse-Spleen wine estate, located in Moulis-en-Médoc in the Gironde department at the heart of the prestigious Haut-Médoc vineyard in France, dates back to 1824. Thanks to its long history, it has become one of the most famous Bordeaux Châteaux. The vineyard, spanning over 42 hectares, is planted with 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. The best plots of its property are located at the top of the gentle slope of Moulis, benefiting from rich gravelly soil that encourages drainage and aroma expression. Chasse-Spleen produces a dry, classic, and fine red wine, made from a blend of most classic Bordeaux grape varieties.
